Job Description
Business Intelligence Manager – Lead Data Strategy for a High-Growth Video Monitoring DivisionWe are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics delivery and stakeholder partnership for our ECAM video monitoring business, one of GardaWorld’s most critical and fast-growing divisions.
This role is first and foremost a people and business leadership position. You will lead a team of BI analysts, act as a trusted advisor to ECAM operations and leadership, and ensure our data products are clearly understood, well-adopted, and driving measurable business performance.
While you will operate within a modern enterprise data platform (Snowflake, Power BI, Fivetran, Azure, dbt, Git), your primary responsibility is not to be the most technical person in the room—it is to set direction, build trust, translate business needs into analytics strategy, and represent BI as a confident, value-adding partner to the ECAM business.
What’s in it for You:
- Competitive Pay: $130,000 - $140,000.00 per year, plus bonus
- Work Site Location: Dallas, TX
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options.
- Career Growth: Career growth opportunities at ECAM
- Travel: 0-25% or as business requires
Your Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BI analysts, setting clear expectations around delivery quality, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement.
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the ECAM BI team.
- Ensure analysts are focused on the highest-value business priorities, not just ad-hoc requests.
- Provide mentorship on communication, storytelling, and executive-ready analytics—not just technical skills.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Business Enablement
- Serve as the primary BI point of contact for ECAM operations, customer service, and leadership.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders—ensuring they feel heard, supported, and confident in BI outputs.
- Proactively identify opportunities where data can improve operational performance, customer experience, and strategic decision-making.
- Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytics roadmaps and actionable insights.
- Confidently present insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to senior leaders.
- Analytics Strategy & Delivery Oversight
- Own the ECAM analytics roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term platform and reporting strategy.
- Oversee the development and evolution of Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and datasets—ensuring they are intuitive, trusted, and aligned to business outcomes.
- Partner with Data Engineering on data modeling, ingestion, and transformation priorities in Snowflake.
- Support and advocate for the ongoing migration from SQL Server–based reporting to Snowflake-centric analytics.
- Platform, Governance & Standards
- Ensure ECAM analytics align with enterprise BI standards for data definitions, documentation, and visualization best practices.
- Support SOC 2–aligned governance, including role-based access, data security, and auditability.
- Monitor report usage, adoption, and stakeholder satisfaction—adjusting strategy as needed to maximize impact.
- Act as a bridge between enterprise data platform initiatives and ECAM-specific needs.
Your Qualification
- Required
- 5+ years in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or lead-analyst capacity.
- Proven experience partnering directly with business stakeholders, not just delivering reports.
- Strong ability to communicate, influence, and build trust with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of modern BI and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, SQL, Power BI), even if not hands-on daily.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, manage expectations, and drive outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred
- Experience supporting operations-heavy, service-oriented, or high-velocity businesses (security, logistics, monitoring, call centers, etc.).
- Familiarity with ELT/ETL tooling such as Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, and/or dbt.
- Experience operating within governed, compliant environments (SOC 2, role-based access, data security).
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
